Hi, I'm Jeongsic Yoo, a design engineer.
I first became interested in design while looking through the work of Karim Rashid and Stefan Sagmeister. That's how I started studying design, and as I moved into web design in particular, it naturally led me into front-end development—the craft of making design move and respond. Since then I've worked in education, crowdfunding, and 3D fashion, and today, as a design engineer, I build products in the space between design and development.
Since then, I've been writing about work and books that caught my interest, along with the thoughts they sparked. This site brings together the writing and projects I've made over the years. As we move into the AI era, I hope to bring in a wider range of experiments and stories as well.
I run or read. Once, I ran a full marathon all the way to the finish. I enjoy books that open up new perspectives, and I'm especially fond of Seth Godin's The Practice.
